Last Friday I was invited as a special presenter at Stocklmeir Elementary School in Cupertino to explain my game CoderBunnyz at their Math Fest. I explained how I came up with the story of CoderBunnyz, what I am learning from my venture, some of the game tokens and the board. When I got there, I met this really nice girl. She gave me a stuffed animal which is their animal logo – a panda. It was really cute.
Once the presentation was over a lot of Kids came to my Game Table and asked me questions and played CoderBunnyz. It was a lot of fun. It was a fun evening with over 200+ people.
I’d like to share with you all what I have learned so far :
- Have Fun while doing new things
- Take Risk
- Listen to your parents
- The most important thing I told the students was “Don’t Give up!”.
Here are some of the pictures from the events –
Happy MLK day all! MLK was a great leader and helped bring equality among all people. Isn’t that great? All people should be equal, agree?
I wrote a poem on this great leader. Enjoy! – CoderBunnyz Girl
As the winter break is about to be over, its time to start preparing for school. I thought would write a poem motivating myself and all my loving teachers. This poem is dedicated for all those creative, amazing and hard working teachers. If you like this, motivate me by putting comments or liking my facebook page. 2nd grader CoderBunnyz Girl 🙂
